A call to envision wealth beyond the present, to think in generations, not quarters.
ASCEND principle 01
A story of conviction, precision, and the relentless pursuit of what wealth can mean on this continent.
Africa is rising. Its wealth creators are among the most dynamic and entrepreneurial in the world, and they deserve counsel that meets them at their level of ambition.
Boutique, Africa-rooted wealth advisory did not exist at the standard Africa's HNW community deserved. Global firms saw a market. ASCEND Africa sees a people, with extraordinary ambitions, complex cross-border lives, and a generational legacy to protect.
Africa's wealth is growing faster than the quality of advice available to steward it. The execution gap between wealth creation and wealth management has become one of the defining challenges of our generation.
ASCEND Africa exists to serve, not merely to access. A firm built for Africa's accomplished, with global reach, deep African roots, and an unwavering conviction that our clients deserve better than they have been offered.
ASCEND is a verb, Rise. Preserve. Transcend.
To ascend is to rise deliberately and purposefully toward a higher plane. Six principles give the word its meaning.
A call to envision wealth beyond the present, to think in generations, not quarters.
ASCEND principle 01Deliberate, structured and evidence-based approaches to wealth preservation and growth.
ASCEND principle 02A higher awareness of what wealth truly means: freedom, legacy, impact and opportunity.
ASCEND principle 03An uncompromising commitment to quality, expertise and bespoke client service.
ASCEND principle 04Expert guidance through complex global financial landscapes, jurisdictions and opportunities.
ASCEND principle 05The ultimate goal, wealth that endures, structures that protect, legacies that outlast.
ASCEND principle 06
Founder & Executive Chairperson
A distinguished wealth management leader with over 29 years of experience serving High and Ultra High Net Worth individuals across Africa and international markets, Dr. Kimemia has guided clients in wealth preservation, global mobility, investment immigration and cross-border wealth structuring.
Drawing on leadership gained at some of the world's most respected financial institutions, she established ASCEND Africa to deliver a more personal, strategic and client-centric approach, one built on trust, discretion and enduring relationships. Her vision continues to shape the firm today: empowering Africa's most accomplished families to preserve, grow and position their wealth for generations to come.
A deliberate three-part method behind every ASCEND relationship.
Before a strategy is drawn, we spend time understanding your world, ambitions, concerns, family and timeline. Wealth management begins with complete understanding.
Every mandate is built from first principles, with asset allocation, jurisdiction, mobility and property decisions engineered to complement one another.
Decisions are implemented through regulated institutions and carefully selected specialists, with every outcome monitored and reported with discretion.
Africa's wealth is rising.
The quality of counsel must rise with it.
East Africa is the continent's fastest-growing economic region, yet remains underserved by truly boutique, globally connected counsel. ASCEND exists to close that gap.
